Some Background Information about Dave
Dave started his apprenticeship in 1979 with R.J James Ltd, Portsmouth. In that time he gained a vast knowledge of all aspects of Painting and Decorating, including Gold Leafing, Sign writing, Marbling, and Artexing. He has worked in Italy and has an appreciation of Alfresco Painting / Murals and design. Dave is a qualified paint sprayer, with knowledge of compressors, sand blasting, and pebble dashing.
Examples of Past Work
He has worked on many prestigious projects over the years, including Westminster Bridge, the Thames Barrier, the Chichester Festival Theatre, Barrett Show Homes, Hotels, BMW Car Show Rooms, Factories, Domestic contracts and Barn conversions, restoration work, schools, Luxury homes, and even the Royal Yacht Britannia and other numerous naval fleet vessels. He has also worked for Strada - for the Underground network, spraying tunnels. (References are available on request).
In 2007, Dave received a recommendation from Sir Robin Catford KCVO CBE (PA to PM Margaret Thatcher), for works carried out on his private dwelling (see link 'Sir Robin Catford' - to the right).
